PANAHON TV REPORTS | Senior Citizen’s Rights during GCQ
Older people are at higher risk from covid-19. Philippine data shows, 7 out of 10 senior citizens died of coronavirus. Probably the reason why under the enhanced community quarantine, they are told to stay indoors. But as we transition to General community quarantine, many of our seniors, including Mang Popoy, a senior citizen and a jeepney driver, fear that going back to work is still not possible under GCQ guidelines. Let’s watch his story and the senior citizens’ rights during GCQ.
