The eye of Typhoon “LIWAYWAY” {LINGLING} was spotted at 490 km Northeast of Basco Batanes with winds of 155 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 190 kph. It is moving North at 10 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 940 km East Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers is expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
