Weather Today – November 7, 2018

Easterlies or the wind coming from Pacific ocean is affecting the country. This weather system does not only bring warm and moist winds but it also brings scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga and Palawan. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by the localized thunderstorm will be experienced.

By the end of November or by the start of December, the Northeast Monsoon or “Hanging Amihan” will be experienced over the areas of Metro Manila.

According to PAGASA Weather Forecaster Ariel Rojas, there are no weather disturbance monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility and that fishermen with small sea craft can safely venture out to the sea.
