Weather Today – November 2, 2018

As of 3:00 a.m. today, Tropical storm “Yutu” was last spotted at 615 km West of Basco, Batanes. It has maximum sustained winds of 75 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph. The tropical storm is slowly moving away from the country and yet its trough is affecting extreme Northern Luzon and brings scattered rain showers and thunderstorm over Batanes and Babuyan group of Islands. Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, expect a fair weather condition with chances of rains and thunderstorm on the latter part of the day. 

Gale warning is hoisted over the Northern and Western seaboards of Northern Luzon.
