Weather Today – October 25, 2018 #YUTUPH

As of 3:00 a.m. today, the Typhoon “Yutu” was last spotted at 2,535 km east of Central Luzon (Outside PAR). It has maximum sustained winds of 219 kph, gustiness of up to 260 kph and is moving Northwest at 20 kph. According to PAGASA Weather Forecaster Gener Quitlong, if the typhoon maintains its track it is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday (October 27) and is possible to make landfall in Cagayan area next week.

Meanwhile, Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao and will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN. The rest of the country including Metro Manila, expect a fair weather condition with only isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorm.

No gale warning in any seaboards of the country.
