The Low Pressure Area 970 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan is expected to dissipate within 24 to 36 hours. 

Easterlies, the warm and humid air from the Pacific, affects the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

According to PAGASA Weather Forecaster Ariel Rojas, the Northeast Monsoon or  “Hanging Amihan” is expected to prevail in the last month of October or early November, bringing cold and dry air from Mainland China and Siberia.
