After days of rains, some parts of the country will begin to see blue skies and sunshine as the weather improves.

In an interview with Panahon TV, PAGASA Weather Forecaster Shelly Ignacio said that the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat has weakened in the absence of a weather disturbance.

Today, a weaker Habagat will still bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in Western Visayas and Northern Palawan. In the remaining parts of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies or generally fair weather will prevail. Isolated rain showers are still possible.
